Automate child work items setting to Confidential
Release notes
Problem to solve
When a work item is set to be confidential, all its children must be confidential. Today, users must set this manually. It is time-consuming, especially for complex work breakdown structures.
Proposal
When a work item is set to be confidential, automatically set its child work items to confidential too. There are three ways to do this that come to mind:
- Perform the action automatically, and notify the user of the changes that were done.
- Don't perform the action automatically; give the user a way to "opt in" to the automatic changes. ("There are 5 tasks under this issue. Do you want to set them to confidential?")
- Set the child items to be confidential and inform the end user that this was done automatically on their behalf.
