Global search and "jump to" doesn't always work

Summary

The global search results will not load in browser after attempting to query a string which does not exist.

Steps to reproduce

1. Search for "hello", click the first project that comes up, this should work.
2. Search for "zzzaaaa", there are no results
3. Remove previous string "zzzaaaa" and search for "hello" again, this time it fails to when I attempt to click on it.

What is the current bug behavior?

Unable to click through to search result, the text field is filled but the search does not continue.

What is the expected correct behavior?

When the query is corrected, clicking it should take you to the target.
