Problem

Often when you are working on a branch, you get a notification that your branch can longer be merged due to merge conflicts. If you need more information on what caused this merge conflict, it can be a time consuming process to locate the MR which resulted in these conflicts.

Possible solution

The merge conflict email notification could include information such as a link to the originating / offending MR. This information could potentially be displayed on the MR widget too.
