Problem to solve

We currently have little quantitative information about how users are using the Geo admin dashboard. In order to help us target improvements that deliver the most value, the following will be useful metrics to collect:

• How frequently the dashboard is viewed
• Which pages are of most value
• What actions do systems administrators perform using the dashboard

Proposal

Build a framework to collect usage stats from the UI that can be incorporated into usage ping data.

To start with we will collect page views per month broken down by page.
