Docs feedback: Improve object storage documentation

I'm in the process of migrating to GCS from S3, and was pleasantly surprised to see guides on just that, which confirms some of the steps I mentally prepared myself to do. So that's nice.
I'm sure there could be other improvements and clarifications as well, I know I had a bunch of questions - but let me know what you think of these two points:
Rclone vs GCS Data Transfer
What wasn't nice, is that GCS actually has a "Data Transfer" service, which seems to do a transfer job leaps and bounds faster, than rclone could do. Locally, Rclone gave me 14 MB/s, on a GCP server, I could do 140 MB/s, but with Data Transfer, I'm hitting 1-2 GB/s.
These docs could benefit from a point that recommends alternatives to rclone.
List all object-storage-able systems
I prepared buckets for 8 different services (https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/administration/object_storage.html#object-specific-configuration), but then I realized the list I was working from didn't include "registry". So I was missing that. Would it be possible to clarify which services I should make buckets for, in one comprehensive list?
