Docs feedback: Add headers to better organize permissions
Everyone can contribute. Help move this issue forward while earning points, leveling up and collecting rewards.
This document (https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/permissions.html#permissions) has a laundry list of permissions that are ordered to correspond to increasing control. This structure makes sense for a small number of features/permissions and perhaps for initial setup, but is difficult to understand if you are just trying to research permissions for a particular feature set.
It would nice to be able to view these features by category as well:
"Issue Management" "CI/CD" "Merge Requests" "Security & Compliance" etc.
While some permissions cut across areas, having headers would provide some better organization, even if its not perfect.
To maintain a SSOT, this document might work best by having some filter or display options that re-sorts the table based on the view the user is seeking.
