Epics display tree view button on Premium subscriptions, but it does nothing

Release notes

Prevent the view change buttons within epics from displaying when the behaviour is not relevant to the subscription level.

Problem to solve

As a GitLab premium subscription holder, I only want to see UI options which are relevant and available to my subscription level so I don't have an interface of options which do nothing for me.

Further details

  • I am GitLab user with a premium subscription
  • I work occasionally within epics
  • When viewing an epic, I noticed a button for "Tree View". It did nothing when I clicked it. I couldn't find any documentation relating to what it was supposed to do.

I reached out on Twitter to get more information and have been told this works with Child Epics. As a premium user, I don't have access to child epics, so this button is not relevant to my subscription
