Archieved project replaced with a subgroup with the same name

Summary

Hello all,
Today I faced with a strange bug (🤔 ) at our GitLab instance. An archived project is replaced with a newly created subgroup! and I see both of them on their relative tabs, archived project is showed as Group (directory icon before the project's name) on "Archived projects" tab and subgroup is listed as usual (just like a normal group) and when I click on project's name it redirects me to newly created subgroup without any notify or error. Unfortunately we don't have any access to our archived project.

Steps to reproduce

I tried several scenarios and every time I faced with an error (as expected).
I'm wondering what happened ¯\＿(ツ)＿/¯

Relevant logs and/or screenshots

  • Project's name is mcd-1080-web and we created a group with exactly same name.
  • Both hyperlinks have the same address (redirect me to subgroup's path).
