Fix usability problems with template selector
Problem to solve
When a file is created from the template selector in a subdirectory, once the template is fetched the filename input value gets set to the template type value. It does not show the full path to the file in the filename input.
Also it is confusing that the template type is not immediately set after being chosen in the first dropdown. Instead it is set after the actual template is selected.
