Problem Statement

As an infrastructure engineer, I want to host Terraform providers, so that I can maintain forks, unreleased versions or private providers within my company.

As a software developer, I want to see the provider documentation, so that I know how to use a given provider.

Reach: 1.5

It impacts a subset of Terraform users.

Impact: 2.0

Today alternatives are to

• not have custom providers
• host a module + provider registry
• use an alternative solution, like Terraform Enterprise
