Problem to solve

Improve productivity of GitLab users when linking issues or MRs.

Currently, when issues or MRs are linked in a description or comment, they are shown by their IDs. When there are multiple issues or MRs, it is difficult to know what the issues or MRs are about. In order to get context, one has to hover over the link and view the respective title.

Proposal

Having a snippet of the issue or MR title beside the ID would make it much easier to read an issue or comment. Something like the following:

Documentation

Testing

What does success look like, and how can we measure that?

What is the type of buyer?
