Unnecessary oauth redirect page after granting permissions

Summary

After getting user oauth permission the user will see a blank page with a redirect url link flash up on the browser.

Steps to reproduce

Click on the GitLab button and accept the permission request the see the redirect link screen flash onto the browser for 1 - 2 seconds.

What is the expected correct behavior?

Since my callback redirects back to my app the redirect screen should not appear
