I've seen on this page, under Code Owners that it says Code owners are assigned automatically as merge request approvers. But i've been unable to find information about this in the docs, nor does it work for our repo.
In my case, we have a CODEOWNERS file in the root, using a wildcard. We are on a Premium account and have a protected branch. I have set it up according to your docs and can see when I open an MR that it Requires 2 more approvals from Code Owners and lists the users. But it does not assign anyone to the MR. Is this just not the way that it works?
