How to batch assign multiple issues to a milestone?

Currently I'm not clear on the method that should be used to batch assign a number of issues to a milestone, rather than assigning individually.

I thought using boards I would be able to create a list based on a milestone and then drag and drop all the relevant issues to it but there isn't an option to create a board list based on milestone (can't assign a milestone to a tag).

Currently what's the best way to assing multiple issues to a milestone?
