Innersourcing means sharing code and information across your organisation. But not all information, questions and answers are captured well in repository-format. And even if that information is found across projects and repositories, it's not always easy to find this.
GitLab Knowledge Base allows you to build a central Q&A platform. A StackOverflow for your organisation.
Knowledge Base works exactly like issues, but with notable inclusions and exceptions:
- it's global
- issues are sorted by upvotes
- comments are sorted by upvotes
- All right side-bar features are disabled, except labels
- It's accessible for everyone
