This is on the GNOME instance of the GitLab. I've no idea what version they run, but it's a semi-recent thing. I know I've been able to open that page with no problem in not so distant past. I do not know when exactly it was working properly, I do not visit that page often.
Steps:
- open https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/tree/fd69b4174867a772984eb515099160de729a1005/gtk
- while the page is loading, press Ctrl+F and type: "gtkl" (quotes for clarity only); it'll find something, but...
- ..type more, like: "gtklabe" - Firefox will tell "nothing found" and will kill one CPU
- press Esc to hide the search entry and use the scrollbar or the mouse wheel to get to the place where the gtklabel.c can be
The page effectively kills Firefox (94.0), Chrome (the link contains a profile from the Firefox run, claiming ineffective JavaScript code provided by GitLab) and Epiphany (WebKitGTK). I did not try other browsers.
