Move `gitlab-docs` specific content to the `gitlab-docs` project
Issue
While reviewing !73048 (merged), I was reminded that we have more gitlab-docs
specific content that is in the gitlab
project, but should be moved into that project. The initial content move was completed for gitlab-docs#1046 (closed), but this was an MVC initially targeting content in the handbook that needed to move over, as well as README.md
content in the gitlab-docs
repo.
A good indicator of this problem is that is that this issue is in the gitlab-docs
project, but the MR raised to address it is in gitlab
.
We should probably move this content over (will expand list as I find more content that needs to move):
- https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/development/documentation/site_architecture/index.html - Perhaps the entire page can be moved over as-is.
- https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/development/documentation/site_architecture/deployment_process.html - Perhaps the entire page can be moved over as-is.
-
https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/development/documentation/site_architecture/global_nav.html - I think the details about language can stay in
gitlab
, but some of the technical details probably need to be ingitlab-docs
, as that's where you need to be to manage the global nav.
