Accessibility: Gap between "Viewed" Checkbox and Label

In the MR Diff view, there is a "Viewed" checkbox for each file. It happens very often for me that I click between the checkbox and the label where the click is ignored:

The label area should be expanded (e.g. use padding instead of margin), so that a click in the gap between works as expected.
