Cant activate 2FA anymore since gitlab 14.3.1 using LDAP

Cant activate 2fa anymore since gitlab 14.3.1

Until In GitLab: Since gitlab 14.3.1 we need to enter a password. This shouldn't be according to the documentation: https://docs.gitlab.com/14.3/ee/user/profile/account/two_factor_authentication.html

In 14.3.0 it wasn't the case, maybe some code of 14.4 pre ended up in gitlab 14.3.1+?

By the way we use ldap as user authentication.

What is the current bug behavior?

Constantly asking for: The six-digit pin number from the entry on your device into the Pin code field. And my current password.

What is the expected behavior?

The 2fa is activated and the recovery codes can be downloaded.
