GitLab Migration - Migrate Designs

Release Notes

We continue to add support for more metadata to GitLab migration. In GitLab 15.1, we’ve added designs. This metadata will help you migrate more of the data without needing to manually copy over designs.

Proposed Solution

  • For each migrated project, migrate Designs.
  • Designs should be assigned to the appropriate issues.
  • Design references in issue/epic description/comments should be updated.

Additional details

Designs require LFS and are associated with an Issue.
