  note: For the sake of simplicity, I decided to ship this with as little spec changes as possible, which implies mounting the full component in the existing specs. I'm not a fan of this though and I would like to follow-up on this by adding new specs for the base component, which will let us deduplicate some test cases and reintroduce shallow mounted components to make tests faster.
