Docs feedback: Sidekiq negate settings don't work as documented
https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/administration/operations/extra_sidekiq_processes.html#negate-settings mentions
To have the additional Sidekiq processes work on every queue except the ones you list. In this example, we exclude all import-related jobs from a Sidekiq node:
After you follow the steps for starting extra processes, edit
/etc/gitlab/gitlab.rb
and add:sidekiq['negate'] = true sidekiq['queue_groups'] = [ "feature_category=importers" ]
-
starting extra processes just brings user to a section that tells them to set
sidekiq['queue_groups']
but the givem example already does that. - Using example setting does not seem to work as of 13.5. All I get is one process running all queues.
- An example should be provided that has one process running all queues and another running only a specific queue or perhaps all high urgency queues.
