Accept multiple traces per job in GitLab Rails

Release notes

Overview

This is one step to implement the Service Logs requested feature.

Proposal

  • GitLab rails need to start accepting multiple traces per job. job trace and service-x trace (x being the name of the service).

  • Note: There is a lot of scalability/ database work that needs to be done to achieve this. We have to take in consideration that each job can 2x the traces it can send since a service might be logging a bunch of stuff.
