Create remind_me quick action
Release notes
I would like to propose a /remind_me quick action to set a TODO in the future.
Problem to solve
This would solve the problem where someone says "I'll do this later".
Intended users
- Parker (Product Manager)
- Delaney (Development Team Lead)
- Presley (Product Designer)
- Sasha (Software Developer)
User experience goal
For example, a conversation has reached a point where other work needs to be done. You could set a TODO to be created in 2 weeks to check on the status with:
/remind_me 2w "Check on status of related issue"
Proposal
The command could create an entry in a database table that is checked periodically to create the TODO from the entry. The entry could be deleted once the TODO is created. Alternatively the TODO could be created and hidden until the requested time.
