Serverless debugging

Problem to solve

As a developer, in order to assure that my serverless functions work as expected, I would like to see the invocation and error logs.

Intended users

  • Sasha (Software Developer)

Further details

This issue was derived from #31485 (closed) in order to make it an MVC.

Proposal

Document how to set up ELK to debug a serverless function. Provide a full example (can be a GitLab project) beside the documentation.

The documentation should include the removal of the ELK stack too, given its resource needs.

Permissions and Security

Kibana will be accessible with kubectl proxy

Documentation

Testing

What does success look like, and how can we measure that?

What is the type of buyer?
