Highlight focused Design discussion in comment pins
Problem to solve
When there are lots of discussion threads on a design it can be hard to identify which thread relates to which marker on the design without scanning for the correct comment number.
Proposal
There should be some kind of mechanism to highlight the relevant discussion and comment icon to help visually highlight what each discussion thread is referencing.
A) You click on a comment badge in the design. The conversation focuses on that comment just like this prototype.
B) When I click on a comment in the sidebar (the colored badge above a comment), there is some effect that shows where the badge is on the design, as well as the design will scroll to ensure that the badge is on screen. Here's a demo:
For scenario B, I think we could do better styling on the comment badges to make the relevant one stand out, rather than simply adding opacity to all the others. Maybe a beacon-type CSS animation, or a focus state that is a different color.
