Problem to solve

Frequently the file I want to view in the merge request is collapsed by default!

Further details

GitLab has conservative diff limits to protect page performance and server-side performance, but these limits are too conservative in common usage.

Proposal

Increase the per file limit so that a merge request that makes one large change renders by default
