Standardize how we talk about permissions and roles
There are five types of access: guest, reporter, developer, maintainer, owner. In the UI these words are capitalized, for example:
We refer to them inconsistently. We should document standards and apply consistency.
Examples:
- Capitalization:
- You must have maintainer (developer, etc) permissions. OR
- You must have Maintainer (Developer, etc) permissions.
- Only maintainers can do xyz. OR
- Only Maintainers can do xyz.
- Permission vs. permissions:
- Which one should we use. "maintainer permission"? or "maintainer permissions"?
Actually, maybe we should use the word "role" instead of "permissions"?
