Docs feedback: Improve Container Registry Administration documentation

I have installed Docker registry in a separated host from Gitlab instance and I would like to communicate it with Gitlab Container Registry.

I checked out this link:

But there is no documentation about it. Besides that, I had a look on this section:

Although I think this configuration makes no sense because if you want to disable Container Registry why would you set registry_enabled = true ?

It is a little bit confusing which ports are using each one, I would like to see some architecture diagram such as this link:
