Can't export project because the "link is expired"
Summary
Whenever I try to export a project that is:
- A private project...
- ...on a private organization...
- ...that has LFS objects and several submodules...
- ...which I am a "Maintainer" of the project and the organization's "Owner"...
- ...which weigh 10 Gb (the maximum size allowed for free users)...
- ...hosted on GitLab.com.
I do receive the email with the download link but it is not working because it "expired".
Steps to reproduce
- Go to any project meeting the constraints described in "summary".
- Go to it's settings, press the "Export project" button.
- Wait a few minutes to receive the email.
- Click the download link in the email.
Example Project
Any project similar to the one described above.
What is the current bug behavior?
Redirect to project's settings page with an error at the top claiming that "the download link expired".
What is the expected correct behavior?
I should be able to download the export of my project without any issues.
Relevant logs and/or screenshots
On the third or forth try, I decided to query the export status of the concerned project through the GitLab API (GET /projects/:id/export
endpoint), here are the results I've got:
- Before clicking the button, the value of
export_status
isnone
. - After clicking the button, the value of
export_status
isstarted
. - After receiving the email, the value of
export_status
isnone
(I guess it should befinished
).
