Proposal

Look into whether there is a way to detect language and fill out lang attribute for user-generated content.

Background

When doing the VPAT, I ran across the Language of Parts requirement and realized that we are not in compliance because of our user generated content. We have no way of specifying the language of parts of user generated content. Users could probably do this using HTML within their markdown. It would be awesome if we could somehow detect language other than English (primary language of page), and prompt users to use the lang attribute somehow.

Also I liked the auditory examples here because I didn't realize how difficult it was to understand a different language when using a screen reader and the wrong pronunciation rules. It makes sense, but its not something I thought of.
