Generating a merge request from an issue with non default source branch still generates the branch of the default branch.

Steps to reproduce

• Create an issue.
• Click create merge request and branch.
• Select create merge request and branch.
• Select a source branch which is not the default branch.
• Click create merge request.

=> The branch will be created from the default branch as source independently on what was chosen.
