Upgrading to GraphQL Pro

@cablett and I talked about it briefly once, but what do we think about purchasing a yearly subscription to graphql-pro, for $900/year?

GraphQL has become a key component in GitLab - it will become our primary API interface, used by both customers and our own frontend code.

We rely almost exclusively on the ruby gem graphql, which provides all the graphql support on the backend.

There is a version called GraphQL Pro, and it provides additional features as well as priority support.

Unfortunately, we would not be able to use the additional features since we can't ship a closed product with our self-hosted versions. Though at some point we might be able to use it for only gitlab.com.

But it's important for us to support this type of software that we rely heavily on. In addition, we would receive priority support for issues and requests. This could be very important for performance, scaling, and security.

fyi, we do currently have license for Sidekiq Pro: https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/support/workflows/sidekiq_support.html

Cost: $900/year
Purchase: https://graphql.pro
