New Epic's Start and End dates are submitted with timezone, moving to the day prior

I'm currently in UTC+1 and Epics created by me have Start and End dates moved to the day prior.

I'm assuming this happens because the midnight start of a day in any timezone with a positive UTC offset is converted to UTC by removing hours, effectively converting the date to the day prior.

This bug doesn't happen when the Start and End date are edited after the creation of an Epic.
