As reported by the Mechanical Sympathy reports

HEAD /api/:version/groups/:id/-/packages/maven/*path/:file_name has a poor latency. Most of this time is spent in database queries.

This is surprising, considering between 40% and 90% of the calls to this endpoint return a 4XX response.
