Add more flavour to the messages sent via the MS Teams Webhook

Problem to solve

We are using the MS Teams webhook integration to post messages to a MS Teams Channel. Most importantly pipeline events for failure and success. After a while the messages all look kind of samey and it can be hard to effeciently skim for succeeded and failed pipelines.

  • It would be nice to have a coloured indicator for succeeded and failed pipelines.
  • It would also be nice to see at what stage the pipeline failed.

Proposal

  • I think it would be enough to expand the message beeing sent with the "missing" information.
  • Cherry on top would be an input field where we could define what components should be included in the message. Kind of like badges work.
