gitlab - jira integration : transition success but no weblink added to jira issue

This integration has been working in past but stopped around 26jan. I've contacted Jira support and after investigation they concluded the issue has to be with gitlab.

on the project page in gitlab

• integration is active
• trigger : commit and merge request
• enable comments is checked
• comment detail (currently all details checked but also tried with standard)
• enable jira transition is active (and this part is working)
• Test settings reports everything is working
