Improvement in UI for diffing two versions

Imo the page that displays the diff between two versions is confusing.

The dropdown at the top left show latest version. However in the two side panels 'latest' is shown at the right. I did not expect this. I assumed the versions in the dropdowns to reflect the side panels.

Proposal
My proposal is that the versions in the dropdowns reflect the side panels. As a user, I expect 'latest version' to be on the right (perhaps western bias here; time goes from left to right). So also let the right combo box contain 'latest'.
