Hide or disable group level badges per project

It is currently not possible to hide or disable group badges on certain projects under that group.

The person in charge of managing GitLab projects with repositories and badges.
Further details
Group badges are visible on all projects under that group with no exception. I have a group where the majority of projects use the same badge (with a placeholder) whilst one or two don't even have the repo enabled. This means the badges are not loaded properly (see screengrab) and link to 400 Bad Request error pages. I would like to be able to hide or disable the group badges for these projects. I do not want to have to create badges for all the projects that require the same badges.
Proposal
Create a way to hide or disable group badges for projects under that group.
Permissions and Security
Same permissions as needed to create project badges.
