URGENT!!!! Mail-Spamming through Gitlab

I currently get thousands of mail notifications from Gitlab. They are all related to the issue #15932 (comment 503906998) - Gost User creates thousands of comments there and they are then notified to users. I have tried to turn off the notifications, but it does not seem to have any effect. Even turning off all notifications in the global settings does not help.
