Improve and migrate FE registry Karma tests to Jest

As part of the review from gitlab-ce!30837, it was identified that the FE tests for the table_registry (and the registry section as a whole) could be improved. At the same time these tests could also be migrated to Jest to align with the general frontend testing objectives.
