Does GitLab Pages accept .wasm files

https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/pages/getting_started_part_one.html says that

GitLab Pages only supports static websites, meaning, your output files must be HTML, CSS, and JavaScript only.

But now I want to create a GitLab Pages site with .wasm (WebAssembly) files. Will it work?

(I never use GitLab Pages before so not sure how it works. If I already know how to use it, I just try it. I googled it but nothing useful show up 😁 )
