Verified GPG key with different committer email address shows 'unverified' on GitLab

Even though your email addresses are verified at GitLab (let's say git@pedzed.com for committing and gpg@pedzed.com for GPG), if the committer email address is not the same as the GPG email address, then it shows as 'unverified'.

The command git verify-commit command, might give success:

gpg: Good signature from "Ped Zed <gpg@pedzed.com>" [ultimate]

But on GitLab it will show as unverified.
