Allowing to sort by file name/commit msg/commit date when displaying repo content (frontend)

Problem to solve

It is useful to sort, e.g. by (commit) date, the content in a repo, directly from the web frontend.

Now the repo frontend view looks like

It would be tremendously handy to have standard buttons allowing to sort files by column.

Consider, for instance, this part of a MacOs finder window, in which the files are sorted by date (rightmost column).

Anyone using the web interface to download files selectively can benefit
