Deploy Boards do not seem to be auto-updating

After going to the Environment list with Deploy Boards enabled, I was expecting for the pod views to auto-update. Unfortunately after waiting over 15 seconds for a canary pod to appear, nothing happened.

These should auto-refresh periodically. I was testing this on 9.3.5.
