BUG: Bad email address / email confirmation prompt

Original Issue
### Summary- User created account with an email address containing a typo
- Account was not confirmed due to typo
- Typo was fixed and proper email address was eventually confirmed
- When user navigates to the Profile>Settings page he sees a prompt to confirm the incorrect email address, see screenshot 1 in ZD ticket
- Account is noted as confirmed in admin, see screenshot 2 in ZD ticket

Summary
User created an account with an email address containing a typo. After correcting the typo and confirming the correct email address, the user still sees a prompt to confirm the incorrect email address in the Profile > Settings page. This issue persists even when the correct email address is confirmed via the console.
Steps to reproduce
- Create an account with an email address containing a typo.
- Attempt to confirm the account (the confirmation fails due to the typo).
- Correct the typo in the email address and confirm the correct email.
- Navigate to Profile > Settings.
What is the current bug behaviour?
The user sees a prompt to confirm the incorrect email address even though the correct email address is confirmed. This warning persists in the settings page.
What is the expected correct behaviour?
Once the correct email address is confirmed, the user should no longer see the prompt to confirm the incorrect email address.
