Commit Statistics shows wrong commits count

Summary

Commit Statistics shows wrong commits count which is limited to 2000 Commits

I tested GitLab by Pushing 1 Million Commits in my Instance https://lab.yoginth.com/yoginth/many-commits, I caught this error!

Steps to reproduce

  • Push 2000+ Commits in a day
  • Load the Contribution Charts page
  • You will get only 2000 Commits

Proposal

For the time being, let's simply change what we displayed to "2000+ commits" if there are more than 2000 commits. This would apply to the daily average as well.
