It seems the doc Custom password length limits only address the installation of GitLab from source, since /home/git/gitlab is a directory created only when source installation is used. Is it true? It is not clear that this doc is only suitable for source installation.

Is it possible to enforce longer user passwords when GitLab is installed using Omnibus package? Where is the documentation?
