Add keyboard shortcuts for group level activities (and more)

As a development lead, operations engineer, or simply a developer on the team
I want to have keyboard shortcuts added to quickly navigate on the Group level
And a few more on the global level (which cover recently added features)
So that we can save time using group-level Boards, Merge requests, Environments, Operations, etc. in our meetings
And there is no excuse to "not work with GitLab" in meetings "because we waste time".

Why? / Motivation

  • The current global keyboard shortcuts cover most of the functionality of the header bar, but not all of them (only parts of the "More" menu).
  • There are no keyboard shortcuts for group-level activities, which is an area where a lot of new features have recently been added.
  • Group level features are especially interesting for projects where you potentially have a lot of regular meetings (backlog refinement, planning, daily, sprint review) and teams may want to work with (screen-sharing) GitLab directly for increased transparency and context.

It should be possible (in a meeting), by pressing a simple sequence of keystrokes, to bring up screens frequently used in (Scrum) meetings, including Group level Boards and Wikis, as well as Environments and Operations.

Proposal

  1. Add global keyboard shortcuts for all items in the header bar's "More" menu, e.g.
    • <E>nvironments
    • <O>perations
    • Se<C>urity
  2. Add global keyboard shortcuts to give access to frequently/recently used "things", e.g.
    • Active Pro<J>ect (most frequently used project)
    • Active G<R>oup (most frequently used group)
  3. Make all Project level keyboard shortcuts available also on Group level (unless not applicable)
