Remove user as a participant from an issue (or mr/epic)
Remove a user as a participant from an issue.
A user can do that themselves. But if you can do it on behalf of a user, it is a nice feature to help the organization decrease noise pro-actively.
As requested from a customer.
Update
A workaround now exists that will work for cases where a user has been accidentally mentioned in an issue. Edit the issue, including comments, to remove that users name in order to remove them from the participants list. The username can be removed completely or backticks `` added (e.g. @theirusername
) around their username. If the user has actively participated the process requires deleting their contributions (e.g. comments).
